Walk to GC


Under the CMA Bylaws, General Council is open to delegates and observers. Observers must be CMA members or invited guests. Non members who wish to observe General Council must obtain the prior approval of CMA, such approval to be granted in CMA's sole discretion. While the number of observers is limited, the meeting is covered nationally on CPAC. Social Events are open to CMA members and others by invitation. For further information, please contact gcregistrations@cma.ca.


The Canadian Medical Association's Annual Meeting includes a business session (open to all members), which considers business and matters referred by General Council, and a ceremonial session for installation of officers and presentation of the CMA Special Awards, at which honorary and senior memberships may be conferred. It may include scientific and educational sessions designed to promote the medical and related arts.
