The Physician Management Institute (PMI) is CMA's leadership development program designed specifically for physicians working in Canada's health care system. When you enrol in a PMI course, you can be confident that:- course content and examples will be practical and relevant to health care and medical practice in Canada

The cross-Canada advantage
If you choose to take a PMI course at one of our designated sites, you learn with physician colleagues. Together, you share issues and experiences unique to your profession and learn a in a collaborative, physician-friendly environment.

When you bring PMI to your workplace, courses can be customized to meet the specific needs of your organization. They can be offered to physicians alone or to interdisciplinary teams that include physicians, other providers, managers and administrators. You'll improve effectiveness by ensuring that you and your colleagues develop a common language and leadership skill set, collaborate to address common issues, solve problems and share new insights.

CME credits
CME credits have been granted by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (MOC) and the College of Family Physicians of Canada (MAINPRO-M1) for our 2010 courses. Each college assigns 1 credit per hour of instruction (see Table). This program also qualifies for Category I (A) MOC credits with the Canadian College of Health Service Executives.

Important information
Payment - Course fees must be received before registration is confirmed. Please call the Coordinator, Registrations, to confirm enrolment before making any non-refundable travel, accommodation or other arrangements.
Substitution/cancellation - The registration fee, minus a $100/course administrative charge, is refundable for cancellations received in writing 10 working days prior to the course start date. Substitutions are accepted.
