Working in allyship on Indigenous health

At the second Fireside Chat on Indigenous Health on May 24, the CMA publicly articulated our Indigenous health goal, developed in collaboration with the Guiding Circle. By so doing, we recognize the bridge between where we are and where we want to be and acknowledge that we need to walk the path of truth and reconciliation to get there. Watch the video from the event, hosted by Tanya Talaga, author and journalist with The Globe and Mail.
We’re just getting started.
The CMA unites physicians and medical learners who believe in a better future of health and health care in Canada.
We’re committed to driving bold action, focusing on areas where we can have the greatest impact:
Workforce planning
Pan-Canadian licensure
Indigenous health
Net zero
Aging
Administrative burden
Physician wellness and safety
Keep up with our work on a better future of health.
