MD Financial Management (MDFM), the CMA subsidiary that provides financial and other services to members across Canada, says client services will not be affected as a result of a Jan. 3 fire at its Ottawa headquarters.
The company says no client data were compromised because of the incident and "our solid business continuity planning means clients will not experience any service interruptions."
The company says its head office, located across the street from CMA House, will be closed for approximately two months as smoke-related damage is repaired.
Operations at the company's regional offices and electronic medical record operations have not been affected. While repairs are being made, head office employees will work from other facilities around Ottawa, including CMA House.
No one was injured in the fire.
