CMA Member Dialogue opens the online door for members to contribute to key CMA discussions

The CMA has recently relaunched its members-only discussion forum — the CMA Member Dialogue — with enhanced functionality and new discussion topics so that members can discuss key topics affecting the medical profession and contribute directly to the association’s policy and advocacy work.

A number of topics are currently available for members to discuss, including:

  • the CMA’s vision for the upcoming Health Accord;
  • health consequences of climate change; and
  • drug shortages.

“We hope members will use this safe space to provide us with their insights and thoughts on these topics to feed our work and to help us set a vision for the future of health care in Canada,” said Dr. Cindy Forbes, CMA president. “The more input we receive, the more accurately our work will reflect our members’ views.”

New themes and questions will be posted on an on-going basis. Feedback received will also be used to identify the issues that are most relevant to the medical profession and to identify tools and resources to support physicians in these areas.

The online door is now open at cma.ca/dialogue.
