Specialty profiles

Our specialty profiles provide an overview of Canadian physicians’ practices, including workload, income and levels of career satisfaction, as well as information on educational requirements, supply and demographics.

Physician data

We collect data on physicians across Canada to support health workforce planning, identify changes to improve doctors’ health and wellness and inform medical students’ career decisions.

For medical learners

CaRMS prep

The CaRMS Interview Prep Program is a free CMA offering that gives medical students the opportunity to practise interview skills and learn from residents.

Backpack program

Every year, CMA hands out colourful backpacks during orientation to help medical students recognize and connect with each other on campus and abroad.
