Albert Ng is an experienced medical professional skilled in disease management, education and complexity science. He also has more than 30 years’ experience in medical administration. He obtained a Masters Certificate in Physician Business Leadership from York University’s Schulich School of Business, is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors’ Rotman Directors Education Program and received his ICD.D designation in 2018. 

Dr. Ng has served as chair of the Board of Directors and Human Resources and Compensation Committee at the Ontario Medical Association and on the Board Chair Selection Committee at the CMA. 

His other areas of strength include governance renewal and understanding strategy and innovation, especially disruptive innovation and the development of social networks in health care.
