Anne Marie O'Donovan previously served on the board of directors of CMA Investco Inc. and joined the Investment Committee in January 2022.
Ms. O'Donovan was the chief administration officer and executive vice-president at Global Banking and Markets, Scotiabank. Prior to her appointment in these roles, Ms. O’Donovan was Scotiabank’s chief auditor. Before joining Scotiabank, she was a partner with Ernst & Young, leading their North American enterprise risk management practice.
Ms. O’Donovan currently chairs the board of Aviva Canada and serves on the board of Cadillac Fairview and NFI Group, where she chairs the audit committees for both organizations.
She served on several committees, including the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants Governance and Risk Committee and the Criteria of Control Task Force.
Ms. O’Donovan is a Fellow Chartered Professional Accountant, a graduate of the Ivey Business School at Western University with an Honours of Business Administration and a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors.
