The CMA has many ways of staying in touch and engaging with members. A key event is our Annual General Meeting, which provides an opportunity each year for the whole of the CMA to come together, network and discuss important and emerging association issues.
Annual General Meeting
The AGM is a highlight in the annual CMA calendar. The AGM is a forum for members to exchange perspectives on corporate matters of interest. It’s also where the board of directors reports on its stewardship of the CMA, members consider association business like bylaws and corporate business proposals, and officers are installed.
The CMA General Council ratifies certain elected positions within the CMA including president-elect, certain committee members and the CMA Board of Directors (except for the non-physician member).
