Survived by his wife Kathy and 2 children. “Ralph was invited to come and fill a position at the Toronto General Hospital in 1968, and after a year there he accepted a position at the Princess Margaret Hospital, also in Toronto. He had a wonderful career there at a time of amazing innovations in imaging (ultrasound, computed tomography scanning and magnetic resonance imaging) and remained until his retirement.”
