Survived by his wife Elizabeth, 3 children and 11 grandchildren. “After arriving in Canada in 1955, he prospected in the North and various areas of BC, which enabled him to pursue a career in medicine. He established a practice in internal medicine and hematology in North Vancouver, where his passion became the establishment of a palliative care program at Lions Gate Hospital. He felt so privileged to live in such a wonderful country that allowed him the opportunity to pursue his dreams and work with so many fine people along the way.”
