Survived by 4 children and 3 grandchildren. “He was a physician and surgeon and had a private practice as a family doctor, first in Hong Kong and later in Vancouver, after immigrating to Canada in 1968. He became a Canadian citizen in 1974 and retired in 1993, at age 70. For many years he maintained 2 offices in Vancouver, one near the University of British Columbia and the other in Chinatown, serving both communities. He continued to make house calls even after they became less common, and he treated many patients from among the less fortunate population around Main and Hastings in Vancouver.”
