Survived by a son and 2 grandchildren. “Line completed her postdoctoral studies in ophthalmology in Boston, Philadelphia and then in St. Louis, and became the first woman in Canada to subspecialize in ophthalmology. Upon her return to Montréal in the late 1960s she joined the Department of Ophthalmology at CHU Sainte-Justine, which was in its infancy. She worked there for almost 50 years.”
