Survived by his wife Sylvia, 4 children, 4 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren. “Joe was awarded his pathology certification in 1961, and had a successful 25-year career at the St. Paul’s Hospital laboratory in Saskatoon. After experiencing a stroke in 1985 he retired from practice, having gained the respect of all who worked with him or knew him. He received tributes from St. Paul’s colleagues and staff, and was recognized by the Saskatoon Police Department for the professional assistance he provided over the years. He deeply regretted having to leave his profession.”
