Did you know CMA members have access to a team of skilled medical librarians who can support you by searching on your behalf, teaching you effective search strategies or training you to use our resources? Get the latest evidence and save time, so you can focus on what’s important to you.

The Ask a Librarian team is committed to curating evidence-based resources on emerging health topics. On July 23 the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the global monkeypox outbreak a public health emergency of international concern. Monkeypox, now known as mpox, is a zoonotic infection and member of the orthopox family of viruses, related to smallpox virus, which was eradicated through vaccination. In 2022, outbreaks of monkeypox infection have been reported in atypical areas and in people without travel links to endemic regions.  Here are some librarian-selected resources from a variety of tools offered with CMA membership or freely available online.
