Survived by his wife Marion, 2 children and 3 grandchildren. “After training in Edmonton, he practised in Saskatchewan during the dawn of universal health care in 1961. He then completed a residency in dermatology in Wisconsin before moving to Calgary in 1966 to set up his practice and work in the newly completed Foothills Hospital. Tom was instrumental in the establishment of the University of Calgary medical school, and his passion for teaching continued throughout his career. In 2005, he was named one of the Alberta Medical Association’s 100 Physicians of the Century as the association marked its 100th anniversary.”
