Survived by his spouse Rochelle, 3 children, 2 stepchildren and his grandchildren and step-grandchildren. “Don thrived in his career in family medicine, practising in Kerrisdale, BC, and at the UBC Student Health Service, where he retired as director in 1996. He also served as an auxiliary medical officer for the Royal Canadian Air Force and as president of the Vancouver Medical Association. He was awarded the Dr David M. Bachop Gold Medal for Distinguished Medical Service by Doctors of BC in 2011.”
