Canadian Medical Assocation

Ottawa; Semmelweis University (Hungary), 1951. Died Dec. 9, 2017, aged 94. Survived by 2 children and 2 grandchildren. “Born in Budapest, Eva immigrated to Ottawa in 1956. She studied medicine in Hungary and Canada, and was a practising family physician for over 60 years. She was also a graduate of the School of Art in Ottawa, and as an accomplished sculptor and painter she had several solo and group exhibitions. She also published several books of poetry, a biography and 3 art volumes. Eva lived a long and rich life, and the void she has left in our lives is huge.”
