George Vasic previously served on the board of directors of CMA Investco Inc. and joined the Investment Committee in January 2022.
Mr. Vasic was managing director, head of Canadian equity research, equity strategist and chief economist with UBS Securities Canada. There, as part of an eight-person global securities executive committee, he oversaw a 900+ person global securities research effort. He also oversaw the Canadian equity business as a member of the Canadian equity management committee. Prior to joining UBS in 1993, he worked as a director of research at Global Insight and as a consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
He has served on the economic policy committee of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, and as contributing editor to Canadian Business Magazine.
Mr. Vasic is a graduate of McMaster University with a Master of Arts in Economics.
