As a CMA member, you have invaluable perspectives on our association and how we can make it stronger. Corporate business proposals are an important way to share your ideas for change with the CMA.
Make sure your voice is heard
Submit your proposal to enhance CMA governance, operations and bylaws. Corporate business proposals are addressed at our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and must be submitted no later than 90 days prior to be considered at the meeting. Proposals submitted after this deadline will be considered at the following year’s AGM.
Our next AGM will be held virtually on May 31, 2025; the deadline to submit a proposal for consideration at this meeting is Mar. 2, 2025. Proposals submitted after this deadline will be considered at the 2026 AGM.
What do we look for?
We’re looking for ideas that will help make the CMA more efficient, effective, transparent and inclusive.
How do I submit a proposal?
Your first step is to fill out the corporate business proposal submission form. We’ll ask for information about your proposal, why you think it’s needed, what you hope it will accomplish and how it aligns with our priorities. You’ll also need to list 10 other members who support it.
If your proposal is accepted, it will be included in the CMA’s policy database. If at any point in the process your proposal is rejected, we’ll let you know.
