Survived by his wife, Gisèle Lamothe, 4 children, 5 grandchildren and his great-grandchildren. “After training in neurosurgery at Yale University, he practised in Québec until 1968, when he left to found the Department of Neurosurgery at the Université de Sherbrooke. He passed on to his students and residents a tradition of excellence.”
