Survived by his wife Eva, 3 children and 8 grandchildren. The McGill medical school bulletin reported: "Dr. Libman's teaching rounds were remarkable. . . . A Royal College examiner said he could always recognize residents who had trained under Dr. Libman by their particular style and approach to patient evaluations."
