Survived by his wife Christie, 3 children and 6 granddaughters. “He was an alumnus of and clinical professor at the UBC Department of Orthopedics for over 30 years. He started his career in 1975 as an orthopedic surgeon at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, and practised at the UBC Hospital from 1980 to 2012. J.P. also served as the first orthopedic surgeon at the Squamish General Hospital in the late 1990s.”
