Survived by his wife Margaret (Peggy), 3 children, 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. “He practised in Brandon, Man., until 1957, and then returned to Winnipeg to study radiology. The family moved to Thunder Bay in 1965, where Hugh practised at McKellar Hospital. . . . As a woodworker, he created artistic and distinctive furniture in abundance, and finished his last bench just over a month ago.”
