Canadian Medical Association

A new year is an opportunity for a fresh start and this could not ring truer for the CMA’s new website. Launched this week, the new site showcases the CMA’s work in a way that is intuitive to CMA members and stakeholders:

  • The CMA’s policy and advocacy work is front and centre, organized around specific health topics such as cannabis, seniors care, and physician health and wellness. This section provides a comprehensive collection of our policy and advocacy activities while also including resources for medical professionals.
  • We also want CMA members to see themselves in cma.ca, and to learn more about the work of colleagues. Our new feature, Physician Changemakers, does this by highlighting members making a difference in health care.
  • A brand-new section is dedicated to supporting the medical profession, where members can find everything related to ethics and professionalism, medical education and other resources.
  • As we continue to build new ways to engage members, we have also created a Getting Involved section to showcase the programs, grants, events and platforms to help members connect with the CMA and each other.

As we continue to identify improvements in how the information is presented, we invite you to share your feedback on the new website by emailing [email protected].
