Due to renewed interest in CMA committee and leadership positions, the increased time pressures many CMA members have faced during the pandemic, and in keeping with the CMA's current governance parameters, the CMA is extending the deadline of its current nominations process to April 22, 2021.
This means CMA members will have an additional three weeks to learn about the available roles and submit their application.
Current vacancies include:
- CMA Committee on Ethics: One member residing in British Columbia or Yukon, and one in Quebec
- CMA Governance Committee: Two member-at-large positions
- CMA Chair of AGM/Speaker of General Council
- CMA Vice Chair of AGM/Deputy Speaker of General Council
Under the extended deadline, potential candidates have until 11:59 pm ET on April 22 to submit their nomination.
