Canadian Medical Association

With Canadians looking for clear information on COVID-19 they can trust, the Canadian Medical Association (CMA) is partnering with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (Royal College) and the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) on a new public health campaign.

Together, the associations have launched covidquestions.ca, a website where Canadians can ask questions about COVID-19 and get trustworthy information on range of topics — from a vaccine, to pregnancy, to risks for those with underlying conditions.

The goal is to complement government organizations’ existing efforts by bringing sound public health guidance to the forefront, and ultimately, to stop the spread of the virus.

“While Canadians have access to multiple sources of information about COVID-19, navigating the myriad of perspectives can be overwhelming and can add another level of anxiety," says Dr. Sandy Buchman, CMA president. "Our goal is to make it easier as we go through this period together.”
