Member registration opens today for the Canadian Medical Association (CMA) 153rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) and General Council Elections, which will be held virtually on Sunday, Aug. 23 from 12:30–3:00 pm ET.

The AGM will feature updates on the CMA’s work from the past year, a moderated Q&A session with CMA board members, and addresses from outgoing president Dr. Sandy Buchman and incoming president Dr. Ann Collins.

Both registered CMA members and delegates are eligible to vote in the appointment of auditors, approve bylaw amendments, and participate in the Q&A session. Only delegates are eligible to ratify elected positions during the General Council Elections, including president-elect, and specific committee and CMA Board of Directors members.
