Healing the Healers: System-Level Solutions to Physician Burnout

Burnout among physicians continues to be a prevalent issue. The Ontario Medical Association (OMA) aims to address the complex system-level issues related to burnout with evidence-based recommendations. A member survey conducted by the OMA highlighted five priority evidence-based solutions. Recommendations were developed by building upon the fourth objective of the Quadruple Aim: Improving providers’ work lives.
