Taking action against clinician burnout: A systems approach to professional well-being - Consensus study

This consensus report from the National Academy of Medicine’s Action Collaborative on Clinician Well-Being and Resilience calls on leaders in all disciplines to improve clinical work and learning environments. Based on a study by the Board on Health Care Services, the report looks at the consequences of clinician burnout and proposes ways to improve patient care by supporting clinician well-being. Doing so will improve the overall health of clinicians, patients and the nation.
