Behavioral Health for the Front Line: Lessons from the Covid-19 Pandemic

During the COVID-19 pandemic, a university-based health system focused on improving mental health support for employees through a four-tiered pyramid approach. Tier 1, the base, included self-care resources; programs teaching supervisors how to provide support to their employees were in tier 2; peer support programs were in tier 3; and professional therapy was in tier 4.
