This discussion paper summarizes the experience of clinicians, primarily physicians and nurses, during the COVID-19 pandemic and post-pandemic needs. It focuses primarily on the challenges and lessons learned from the pandemic and the post-pandemic needs to address population health demands, care for clinicians and the response to future public health emergencies.
