Equity and Diversity in Medicine

This policy provides guidance to physicians and institutions by identifying a set of principles and commitments for promoting equity and diversity in medicine. Reducing inequities, bias and discrimination in medical learning and practice environments improves circumstances and opportunities for all physicians and learners, and helps create a more collaborative and respectful culture and practice of medicine.
