October 1, 2018 CMA
The National Physician Health Survey (NPHS) was launched in 2017 by the Canadian Medical Association to gain a deeper understanding of how physicians are being affected by a multitude of factors impacting their health and wellness as well as to generate an up-to-date and relevant baseline dataset that could be used to inform and advance physician health initiatives. This 2018 report on the CMA NPHS provides valuable baseline data on a range of wellness indicators for physicians and residents in Canada, providing breakdowns by gender, years of practice, and urban/rural.
