The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada’s Competence by Design program highlights the importance of coaching to resident learning and progression. The Coaching to Competence module uses the RX-OCR coaching process to identify gaps in skills and knowledge, then close them through practice, reflection and learning opportunities.
