Every doctor makes mistakes—but medicine's culture of denial keeps doctors from ever talking about those mistakes, or using them to learn and improve. In this TED talk on medicine’s culture of denial and shame, physician Brian Goldman tells stories from his long practice to urge doctors to talk about their mistakes to create cultures of learning and improvement.
