Guidelines for the practice and training of peer support

This document from the Mental Health Commission of Canada is made up of two sets of guidelines:
- Part 1: Guidelines for the practice of peer support provides an overview of the elements of peer support, as well as the guiding values, principles of practice, and skills and acquired abilities required by all involved in formal or intentional peer support programs.
- Part 2: Guidelines for the training of peer support focuses on peer support worker training and outlines the skills and knowledge that should be included in programs to prepare someone to provide peer support.
