The Indian Residential School Survivors Society (IRSSS) provides essential services and support to residential school survivors and their families in British Columbia. As a non-profit organization, the IRSSS aims to facilitate physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual growth and healing to support survivors and intergenerational survivors.
The IRSSS is governed by intergenerational survivors of residential schools from across BC. The organization offers services to survivors including crisis counselling, spiritually informed support, referrals and workshops. The society also offers the 24/7 Lamathut Crisis Line, which offers immediate crisis support to survivors and families.
