Measurement and evaluation tools
At the CMA, we used tools to assess physician health and wellness for our 2021 National Physician Health Survey.
The scales used in these reports (such as the Maslach Burnout Inventory) were selected carefully for their validity, reliability, applicability to physician populations, potential for comparatives and other criteria. (Even so, they are not without limitations.)
