Survived by his wife Jeanne, 7 children, 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. “He was a radiologist at the Hôpital régional Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont in Moncton, NB, for 30 years, and served as the chief of radiology for 15 years. He finished his career providing radiologic services at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital. He served on numerous committees, including as president of the Hôpital régional Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont Medical Staff, of the Moncton and District Medical Society, of the NB Association of Radiologists, and of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick. He also played a key role in creating Moncton’s Dr. Léon Richard Oncology Centre. For Georges, being a physician was more of a calling than an occupation.”
