Dr. Laurent Marcoux, Past President, 2018–19

Dr. Marcoux started his career by founding the Centre médical Saint Denis-sur-Richelieu on Montreal’s South Shore, which he managed for 32 years. From 2012 to 2016, he served as the director of medical affairs and services of the Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay. He was president of the Quebec Medical Association from 2013 to 2015 and was one of two Quebec representatives on the CMA Board of Directors from 2011 to 2016.
