Survived by his wife Ethel, 2 children, 7 grandchildren and a great-grandson. “After medical school Charles decided to continue his schooling, and in 1960 the family moved to England so he could pursue training in ophthalmology at the Birmingham Eye Hospital. They returned to Canada in 1965, and Charles established his practice as an eye doctor in Brantford, where he practised for the next 30 years.”
