
Carole Williams is a long-time family physician practising in British Columbia. She is a graduate of the University of Calgary Faculty of Medicine, and her career has taken her to many places throughout the world in varying medical capacities, which have served to make her career in medicine a rewarding one. Dr. Williams continues to teach students through the University of British Columbia Faculty of Medicine and is also involved in supervising foreign-trained physicians’ transition to practice in Canada.
In addition, Dr. Williams has a keen interest in supporting her physician colleagues and has served on many boards including Doctors of BC, the Canadian Medical Protective Association, the CMA, the Medical Women’s International Association and local divisions of family practice. She enjoys living on her farm in the Cowichan Valley of Vancouver Island with her husband Chris.
