Dr. Williams is a PGY4 resident in psychiatry at the University of Calgary. She was president of Resident Doctors of Canada in 2016–17. She was also a social medical affairs officer of the Junior Doctors Network of the World Medical Association and vice-president of global health for the Canadian Federation of Medical Students.
Dr. Williams has degrees in pharmacology and global health. She co-created Kolabo, an organization associated with the University of Calgary that works with the Catholic University of Allied Health Sciences in Tanzania to create mental health education for trainees. She is a global health enthusiast who seeks to improve the health of the population in Canada and abroad.
