Canadian Medical Association

On International Nurses Day, the Canadian Medical Association (CMA) wants to take a moment to thank nurses for all that they do, today and every day. This year, perhaps more than ever, we want to recognize their extraordinary compassion and dedication to patients, even in the most challenging circumstances.

Florence Nightingale, who helped shape nursing into what it is today, once said “For the sick it is important to have the best”. The COVID-19 pandemic has certainly shown that Canadians are in exceptional hands and receiving exceptional care thanks to nurses in this country. At the CMA, we’re proud to work alongside our nursing colleagues, providing care to our patients.
