Serving Quebec physicians and their patients
The CMA is engaging physicians and medical learners in Quebec to support the profession and improve the health care system. This page is dedicated to keeping you informed about our activities in Quebec.
We’re committed to maintaining key programs in the province, such as supporting physician leaders, Choosing Wisely, leadership training, student engagement and advocacy on behalf of physicians to different provincial authorities.
Proud of our deep roots in Quebec — where the CMA was founded in 1867 — we’re opening a Montreal office in 2020. This regional office will allow us to connect more easily with Quebec members and engage on issues such as physician health and wellness, access to care, and climate change and health. Our work on the ground to support you continues.
We’re pleased to be working together on the issues that matter to you. Learn more about why CMA membership matters.
If you have any questions regarding membership, please reach out to the CMA Member Service Centre at 888-855-2555 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Calls to the centre will be answered from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Eastern Time, Monday to Friday.
For any other concerns, please call our Quebec line at 844-987-1342 from 8 am to 4 pm.

Driving meaningful change in health care
Advocating on issues that matter to the profession and their patients
As Canada’s population ages, wait times and health care costs will continue to climb. We want a national seniors strategy, and investments into more effective and accessible seniors care.
about Seniors Care
Prescribing medication is a key part of many physicians’ practice. Yet the high cost of prescription drugs can make them inaccessible to many Canadians. For more than three decades, the CMA has been a strong advocate for affordable prescription medications.
