Dr. Lynn Dwyer has been a family physician for the past 35 years. She currently runs a clinic in St. John’s, Newfoundland, that provides prenatal care, care for older adults and house calls. She has also worked in emergency care, obstetrics and delivery, and care for students at Memorial University.
Dr. Dwyer was president of the Newfoundland and Labrador Medical Association (NLMA) in 2017–18 as well as a member of the NLMA board.
Dr. Dwyer feels passionately about work–life balance, especially given the COVID-19 pandemic and current health care system challenges. She hopes to bring her professional experience and positive attitude to the CMA board.
