Health activist, social media influencer, researcher, public speaker and writer who raises awareness of lung cancer and speak to issues in that world as well as to broader issues in health care.

Lived experience

Person diagnosed in 2018 with male breast cancer and primary lung cancer who has experienced chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, immunotherapy and targeted therapy. Husband who received a crash course in palliative care when his wife was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and died six weeks later. 

Key areas of interest in advocacy

Lung cancer research, particularly the funding inequities for this type of research. The use of real-world data and evidence as well as artificial intelligence in health care. 

What I hope to bring to the Patient Voice

Excitement for the power of teamwork. Equity, diversity and inclusivity. Allyship and advocacy. Respect for patients as partners and for science.
