Multi-award-winning para-athlete and champion for accessibility. Volunteer with the New Brunswick Coalition of Persons with Disabilities. Member of the Kent Regional Service Commission’s regional transportation committee. Formerly a needle distribution desk clerk with harm reduction programs. 

Lived experience

Person with spina bifida, type 2 diabetes (diagnosed as a young adult), depression and anxiety who has experience with disjointed care. 

Key areas of interest in advocacy

Accessible, integrated human health resources, resource planning and personal health information. Strategic planning for the needs of people with visible and invisible disabilities. The stigma associated with certain mental health diagnoses.

What I hope to bring to the Patient Voice

A drive to improve the way health care services are provided to different social groups across Canada.
