Person who experienced childhood asthma and is now a senior with chronic illness, including pain and heart failure. Hospital board member, health advisory committee member and volunteer online peer support provider for people with heart conditions. Volunteer ambulance attendant and volunteer “Handi Van” driver.
Key areas of interest in advocacy
Access to the necessary supports, including online health care, to age in place, particularly for people in rural and remote areas.

Deep commitment to rural and remote health services. A sense of Celtic humour!
